Remote Python Software Engineer - Python, Django

Day to Day:
- Develop and support python services and applications witten on the Django platform.
- Serve as a point of escalation for Omega tickets and other tier 2/tier 3 support issues
- Support Internal Operations teams by running scripts in production to assist in business as usual activities.
- Report on configuration and settings
- Running data repair, update scripts (updating title configuration, updating pricing, etc)
- Perform code level analysis on omega ticket issues to determine root cause (bug vs user configuration)
- Document bugs for engineering teams & creating tickets in the appropriate team's backlog.
- Document configuration issues and work with customer support in building a functional knowledge base.
- Build and enhance functionality critical to the success of the business
- Work as a team to deconstruct and tackle stories
- Take on stories and drive them to completion with little to no oversight
- Engage in Agile Scrum to ensure your team is always experimenting and improving their development and planning practices
- Ensure that customer-facing UX is accessible to all supported devices and user accessibility needs (WCAG 2.0, Section 508, ADA, etc)



Qualifications:
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 1+ years of experience developing the front-end and back-end of complex, product-focused codebases
- Real-world experience developing with Python, preferably with the Django framework
- Proven track record of building successful full-stack applications, products, or platforms
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
