What You Will Be Doing
- Experience working within a SCRUM / Agile team environment
- Capable of diving into unfamiliar APIs and technology stacks and being able to adapt without documentation
- Experienced with modern back-end service frameworks (Django a plus)
- Continuous integration and unit-testing with Jenkins / CircleCI / Bamboo / Gitlab
- Benchmarking and performance optimizations with Python
- Experienced with modern front-end frameworks such as; React, Redux
- Strong with building SOAs, implementing RESTful APIs, and integrating cloud service APIs (AWS)
- Knowledge of modern search engines, task queues, message brokers (Celery, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch)
- Experienced with Devops (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Packer)
- Experienced with Relational databases especially; MySQL/Postgres
What You Need for this Position
- 5+ years of experience working on large scale distributed systems
- Passionate about continuous learning in software development and building consumer products
- Very driven and risk tolerant, able to adapt and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- Set long and short term goals, combine vision, mission and strategy to achieve them
