Job Title: REMOTE Director of Sales - Power Semiconductor
Job Location: REMOTE with up to 50% travel across North America
Compensation: $125K - $160K DOE
Requirements: Sales Manager/Director, Power Semiconductor, Silicon Carbide (SiC), Distributor Sales, Sales Rep Firms
Our company designs, develops and manufactures Silicon Carbide (SiC) Power Semiconductors as well as 150mm SiC epitaxial wafers. SiC Diodes and MOSFETs are available in both discrete and module form factors as well as bare die and wafer form. We also offer power conversion application expertise which includes sub-system design and semi-custom modules. We serve the following end markets: Electric Vehicle Chargers and Charging Stations; Power Factor Correction (PFC); Output Rectification; Power Supplies including Server Farms; Solar Panel Inverters, Welding, Medical Equipment; and Motor Drives.

What You Will Be Doing
- Direct and oversee sales function to identify and develop new customers for products and services.
- Work with Application team to grow our market share
- Maintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors, and supply and demand.
- Present sales updates, goals, and forecasts to management
- Identify new and emerging application areas and define use cases with our company
- Define Partnership Strategy and recruit and develop partners with the end goal of developing sales
- Support and follow up with rep firms and their activity, including sales, reporting, training, and quotations
- Work with the rest of the sales team on sales solutions
- Drive system to market and achieve reference designs with sales network partners (Distributors, Stocking Agents)
- Drive collaboration between different BU's on customer solutions
- Domestic travel 50% of time
What You Need for this Position
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Administration or similar with a minimum of 5+ years of experience with the following:
- Sales experience in the power semiconductor space
- Silicon Carbide (SiC), Gallium Nitride (GaN), or similar power semiconductor experience
- Business Development, Account Management, and Solution Selling
- Ability to manage North American customers, sales rep firms, and distributors (Mouser, DigiKey, Richardson Electronics, Micross etc.)
- Negotiation with Customers, planning and execution
- Strong business development sense
- A proven record in growing business for electronics products, and with a keen business sense capable of finding opportunity and converting leads to business, demonstrate ability to understand the business value position
- Comfortable in working in a cross-cultural organization
- Excellent strategic thinking and team working spirit
