Located in California, we are a mature startup with a large customer base in the aerospace and commercial markets. Our focus is on Digital Microwave, which takes our very high speed 64+ GS/s ADC and DAC data converters and marries them with our digital systems for up and down frequency conversion. We have developed test-chips and use them to demo our state-of-the-art hardware. We are now transitioning to production versions of our IP and ASICs. As we continue to grow we are looking for a RF Lab Technician to join our team!
What You Will Be Doing
Support mmW/RF bench test system assembly, maintenance, and measurement support for the test benches Experience requirements include RF test bench set-ups and reconfiguration
Work closely with DVT Engineers, IC Design Engineers, and Systems Engineers for the measurement needs and requirements
Configure, verify, and calibrate test bench or rack-type test setups for testing
Performs other work related duties as assigned.
What You Need for this Position
Please have 2-3 years minimum of relevant experience as an RF technician and Associates or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
Must be a US citizen
" Ability to work from and understand electrical schematics to debug hardware issues
" Good mechanical aptitude and ability to understand the drawings. - Working knowledge of mmW/RF and general RF and converter (ADC/DAC) measurements
" Able to work with common test equipment (high speed digital scope, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzer, power meters, etc.)
" Familiarity with RF PCB design concepts including transmission line impedance control, inductance, capacitance, crosstalk, and s-parameters.
" Ability to communicate clearly, organize effectively and document work thoroughly.
" Basic SW or automation knowledge is a plus
