We are a 50-person proprietary energy trading firm searching for a Software Engineer to become a pivotal part of our tech team. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in the development of our technology, software, and the inception of our internal platforms. What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and maintain a wholesale electricity market trading and analytical platform as an experienced full-stack software engineer.
- Translate conceptual ideas into functional software in a dynamic engineering setting. The tools and platforms you develop will be integral to our daily electricity market transactions.
- Collaborate with a cadre of skilled developers and maintain a tight-knit relationship with our trading and quantitative teams.

What You Need for this Position
Must have a Bachelor's (Master's or Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science or similar with 3-5+ years of experience:
- Python
- Quantitative Software (ideally for a trading firm or similar)
- Proven capability in computer programming, especially in constructing systems designed for handling, visualizing, and managing intricate data sets.
- Familiarity with developing and overseeing database systems that interact with diverse, heterogeneous, and intricate data sources.
- Solid grasp of discrete math and probability, essential for the construction and maintenance of trading and analytical tools.
- A well-established history of crafting and rolling out full-stack applications targeting a quantitative audience.
- Proficiency in operating within multi-database settings.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure & Deployment is a plus.
