Role - Sr. Python Developer
Compensation - $130k - $165k Depending upon Experience
Key Skills - Must have experience implementing and deploying Machine Learning Models into a Software Application.
Location - Irvine, CA - hybrid role, candidate must be prepared to work in the office at least 2 days a week.

Based in Irvine, CA, 0ur client is a successful and privately owned medical device manufacturer. This company was created over 30+ years and is currently a leader in it's respective industry. Due to company growth and in addition to modernizing it's internal and external facing applications they are currently hiring for a Software Engineer who has 5+ years of Python. 2+ years of AWS (will consider GCP or Azure) and experience deploying Machine Learning Models.

What You Will Be Doing
Designs, develops, tests, deploys, monitors and optimizes website and mobile applications and APIs that assist in the machine learning process of predictive modeling and deliver ML results to product systems.
Innovates on strategies to extract and deliver useful ML features from existing datasets and produce strategies to collect and normalize new data.
Learns and applies the constantly evolving, latest ML research to enable novel applications and improve upon existing ones.
Considers and ensures performance, scalability, maintainability and flexibility while coding.
Collects, merges and organizes data from varies sources and developing user interfaces to help business to understand and manage customers and products better.
Architects and designs intelligent data science applications that serves the diverse requirement of edge computing solutions.
Designs and manages proper CI/CD automation, MI, workflow orchestration, model deployment to production, and inference pipeline monitoring.
Shares the knowledge with code reviews and suggestions to ensure quality of product according to standards, processes and procedures.
Collaborates with Machine Learning Engineers to continue to mature the use of machine learning within the organization.
Designs end-to-end system architecture, working with various technical teams.
What You Need for this Position
Bachelors Degree in Computer Technology, Computer Science or related field required. Masters degree preferred.
5+ years of experience with applications such as Python, Node.js, AngularJS, React required.
3+ years of experience in developing and integrating Restful web APIs to web & mobile applications and dealing with JSON format data required
3+ years of experience in AWS Serverless architecture and AWS native services like Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, API Gateways, Cognito, CloudFront, IAM, AWS ML, SageMaker, VPC, SQS, SNS, SES, Route53 required.
2+ years of experience implementing Machine Learning Models into a Software Application.
