We are seeking a professional in the transportation industry to assist the Denver Office of Transportation and Infrastructure in designing and constructing complex mobility projects including bike lanes, pedestrian facilities, ITS & signals, transit infrastructure, streets, multimodal facilities, bridges, sidewalks and traffic operations.
What You Will Be Doing
At least five years of supervisory level experience in transportation engineering
Demonstrated leadership skills in mentoring, supervising diverse professionals including engineers, project managers and inspectors
Strong analytical skills to oversee design and construction teams to interpret and draw conclusions from a variety of data sources
Experience in the design and construction of transportation infrastructure projects including roadways, bridges, sidewalks, bicycle facilities, intersection geometrics, pavement markings, traffic signs and traffic signals and traffic operations
Organization and communication skills that builds the team and completes deliverables
A comprehensive understanding of federal, state and City agency policies, standards and systems
Experience and comfort level with matraix management
What You Need for this Position
"Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering
" Experience: At least three (3) years of supervisory experience
" Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience requirements
" License/Certification: Drivers License
" Registration as a Professional Engineer in Colorado or ability to obtain in six (6) months
" PMP Certification desired but not required
