What You Will Be Doing
General:
- Working with senior staff on all aspects of site engineering and planning projects in the office
- Assisting staff and project managers in the preparation of reports and graphics
Pre-Design:
- Assisting with concept study planning exercises
- Preparing feasibility studies
- Performing zoning reviews
- Performs test fit planning
Design:
- Producing drawings using Autodesk software included in the architectural, engineering & construction collection
- Preparing site plans and detailed drawings for various project types including layout and material plans, grading and drainage plans, site utility plans, erosion and sedimentation control plans, plan and profiles, sections and site details
- Preparing maps, exhibits, diagrams, and profiles using cross-sections and surveys to represent elevations, topographical contours, subsurface formations and structures
- Permitting
Construction Phase:
-Prepares site development plans for building permit
- Coordinates discipline design detail
- Performs value engineering

What You Need for this Position
BS in Civil Engineering with FE/EIT (at least)
At least 3 years of:
- Land Development or Stormwater skills
- Design
- Drainage/Hydrology
- Earth Works
- SWPPP
Software:
- HydroCAD
- AutoCAD
- Civil3D
