What You Will Be Doing
-Owning development and delivery of new features across multiple products
-Developing and analyzing metrics that inform the ideation of future products, the strategy for product prioritization, and the overall success of our products
-Employing user science tools to build products that our users need (not just what they want)
-Identifying, recommending, and implementing workflow and product improvements that help our operations teams scale rapidly
-Understanding user needs through research, testing, surveys, data analysis, and use of existing products
-Writing user stories for new product/feature pitches, creating PRDs, and presenting product strategies to stakeholders
-Tracing user issues back to underlying problems - conducting technical troubleshooting and problem solving
-Working collaboratively with engineers, designers, and stakeholders
-Researching and documenting internal and client feedback
-Writing and communicating release notes and product documentation to our internal teams and externally to providers and clients
-Planning complex, multi-phased development projects as well as quick turnaround projects (we are start-up after all, and projects often need to move fast)
What You Need for this Position
- 5+ yrs related experience in product development, research and troubleshooting
- 1+ yrs of experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience seeing projects through to timely completion in an agile environment
- Strong prioritization and project management skills, including timely and proactive communications of timelines
- Familiar with SQL and relational database management
- Familiar with designing mockups and using design programs such as Photoshop, Figma, or Sketch
- You understand data thinking and use tools such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel
Desired Skills:
- UI/UX experience
- Experience with data analytics systems such as Looker or Tableau
- Experience with Zendesk/Hubspot
- Experience with Github
- Experience with a start-up
