As a Product Manager- Well Design, you'll be working to design and define the next generation of products. This role is ideal for someone asking all the right questions that want to be on the cutting edge of new products.
What You Will Be Doing
Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for :
- Researching new areas of industry, interviewing customers, guiding subject matter experts, building user stories, and wireframes, managing products from start to completion
- Guide new feature development
- Bring new product lines to market with support from Sales, Operations, and Marketing depts
- Create ideas to improve the life of the user
- Coordinate reviews with management
- Prepare reports regarding status and progress
What You Need for this Position
Required Qualifications & Skills:
BS/BA Degree
8+ years in oil and gas sales, preferably in tech. SaaS experience preferred.
Experience in Software Product Management
Ability to ask the right questions and turn the answers into software solutions
Ability to gather and evaluate all sources of information available to make the best decisions (Data, Opinions & Science)
Ability to train others in an interactive environment
BONUS :
Experience in Oil & Gas Drilling (Field Engineer or Drilling Engineer experience preferred)
Experience using or building Real-Time Drilling Software tools
Experience as Product Manager at B2B SAAS company
Knowledge of modern Drilling Optimization and Engineering practices
Knowledge of Conventional and Offshore drilling & Unconventional drilling
Experience in data analytics
Experience using Agile Software development practices
