Title: Process Engineer
Location: Torrington, CT
Salary: $85,000 - $115,000
Requirements: PLC Programming, Siemens, HMI Programming
We have been in business for 40 years. We are in the chemical manufacturing industry. We have over 300 employees. Due to continued success, we are looking to add to our engineering team. This will be an on-site position. We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our team. With more than 5 years of experience, the successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
What You Will Be Doing
Maximize production efficiencies by reviewing our product specifications, related documentation, and our internal quality standards.
Working to improve quality, stability, and consistency of new and existing processes, by leveraging the knowledge of the teams around you.
Introduce new products and change management by scaling up processes and leading the coordination of manufacturing.
Provide your expertise on how to improve our overall process with our current product lines.
Help other team members understand the reasons behind any changes made to existing lines and how they will benefit the organization and team.
What You Need for this Position
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
Continuous improvement management certifications are a plus
Understanding and experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and HMI's
Willingness to travel up to 10%
Previous experience with ISO policies and QMS
Background in adhesives is highly desired
