What You Will Be Doing
- Wafer grind & polish responsibilities
- Supporting production while sustaining current production processes while improving on processes, monitoring tool performance, process related SPC
- Wafer bond/demount, PR strip, clean & other back end processing
- DOE (design of experiments), FMEA (failure mode & effects analysis) & improvements on process when needed
- qualifying new tools & processes, train techs & operators while maintaining process documentation
What You Need for this Position
A Bachelors of Science & 3+ years industry experience in the following:
- Experience in semiconductor FAB wafer grind & polish
- Strong knowledge of III-V compound semiconductors
- Grinding experience (GaAs, InP, Si, SiC, etc.) with experience, ideally with RevASUM 7AF II, PM5 and/or Strasbaugh 7AF grinders
- Debond/Bonding experience (GaAs, InP, Si, SiC, etc.)
- Optimization of grinding processes
- Experience running & monitoring new processes, tool performance, Statistical process control (SPC)
- Design of Experiments (DOE), Effects Analysis (FMEA), process failure modes experience all nice to have
- Semiconductor processing equipment, metrology tool experience nice to have
