Pay: $100k -$140k+ DOE
What You Will Be Doing
Key functions of the position include providing day to day support to the distributed control systems, programmable logic controllers, process control loops, and variable frequency drives used in the mill's production areas. Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering departments on projects related to on-going process enhancements and equipment reliability improvements.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance on the hardware and software that comprise our process control and variable frequency drive systems
- Assist with the design and implementation of new hardware, software, and drive packages to improve production, quality, safety, productivity, and operation
- Interact with members of the production, engineering, quality, and maintenance departments to address process control system needs, and lead efforts to implement the identified improvements
- Work independently, and in conjunction with vendor personnel, to optimize distributed control, process control, and variable frequency drive systems
What You Need for this Position
- 3+ Years of Process Controls / Controls engineering experience
- Experience or familiar with Foxboro, Emerson Delta, Allen Bradley, and/or Rockwell
