Title: Pilot Plant Manager
Location: San Leandro, CA
Salary: $160,000 - $185,000
Requirements: Plant Management, Food Manufacturing, HACCP, SQF
This is a FULL-TIME Position, out of our San Leandro office. We were founded in 2019, and just received our Series A funding of $32 million! We are in the process of building our manufacturing facility and need a Plant Manager to oversee our entire project. Our technology is based on NASA inspired CO2 innovation. We are creating a more sustainable food source for the future.

What You Will Be Doing
- Provide technical leadership to all members of the floor staff.
- Work closely and coordinate operations with stakeholders.
- Coordinate startup of plant equipment and operations with the entire team
- Schedule operations and experiments in conjunction with the R&D teams
- Ensure the R&D and Product development teams are coordinating on proper implementation to optimize our process and operations.
- Train personnel on their daily tasks and include a heavy emphasis on quality and safety expectations.
- Leverage 6 Sigma or other lean methodologies to prevent plant downtime, injury, and product loss.
- Keep Safety on the forefront of every employees mind. We want all of our employees to understand they are valued and their health and safety are our first priority.
- Write and review standard operating procedures and experimental plans
What You Need for this Position
5 plus years of Plant Management experience preferred.
You should know most of the following:
Pilot PlantPharma, Gas Fermentation, BioReactors, or Chemical Industry
Process Design
Continuous Improvement
HACCP
SQF
Scale Up
