We are growing exponentially in the corporate event, commercial interior, and tradeshow manufacturing industry located in the heart of beautiful Melville, NY. As a seasoned tradeshow and exhibit design company, we specialize in custom-built exhibits, rentals, and storage with extra attention to high-end details! Due to growth, we are actively recruiting a Metal Fabricator Supervisor that understands architectural fabrication and embraces new technology. Trade show, exhibit, or related construction/Millwork experience is preferred but not required.

What You Will Be Doing

The perfect candidate understands architectural fabrication and embraces new technology. Our shop has CNC and manual milling, laser, various cutting saws, shearing and forming equipment and traditional welders with most of our work being TIG. We out-source a substantial amount of metal work and desire the right candidate to have the knowledge and skill set to bring that work in-house.

What You Need for this Position

- Ability to break out, adjust and draw parts in Auto-Cad with the ability to modify parts for functionality and set up and produce part drawings for the metal shop.
- Program HAAS CNC machine and create G-code programs. Program CNC press brake and program Kern laser.
- 1 year experience with router sim for Haas.
- 5 years of metal fabrication experience.
- Ability to operate all equipment in-house.
- 1 year experience with AUTOCAD/Corel programming capabilities.
- Order materials & supplies.
- Work with internal estimators/outside vendors.
- Train the team on equipment and new practices. Add talent as needed.
- Understanding of metal finishing to properly prep for finishing
- Develop and implement plan to transition all out-sourced work, in-house!
