What You Will Be Doing
The Master QC Technician is responsible for ensuring that video and audio files meet the precise creative vision of the content creator while meeting client specifications.
- Perform File QCs at a Mastering level, using various playback programs and nonlinear editing systems.
- QC master video material and identify any defects
- Complete detailed reports of quality control testing while noting any deficiencies with media.
- Troubleshoot and correct reported issues with assets and collaborate with the team as needed.
- Provide the technical knowledge for external client feedback.
What You Need for this Position
- File QCs at a Mastering Level
- Video QC Mastering
- Deep knowledge of video/audio broadcast standards: UHD, IMF, SDR/HDR, etc.
- Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve
- Video Scopes/QC Workflow
