We are growing our software development team out in Concord. As we do this we are looking for a lead automation engineer to join our collaborative product and engineering team, working in an innovative rapid development environment on the expansion and maintenance of our cloud-based solutions. Successful candidates will be capable of being productive with little direction, working both independently and as a member of a small team serving as the go to Selenium automation engineer for our team. To begin with this role will be remote. But, as things get back to normal you should plan on coming to our dynamic collaborative office in Concord.
What You Will Be Doing
- Work with product specialists and engineers to create an automation strategy.
- Work in cross functional teams to identify automation tests covering important workflows. This will be ongoing and will include new functionality as it is built.
- Develop test cases using Selenium that cover the entire application, including functional tests, performance tests etc.
- Develop automation coverage that can be executed daily as part of our Dev ops procedure.
- Take ownership of triaging and escalating issues that are found from automation tests, especially any regressions/performance impacts that are introduced.
- Passionate about software quality, who cares about the product and would like to work with the latest technologies and tools.
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Expert level experience with automation framework Selenium with Java.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- You have experience in testing web-based applications and APIs.
- You have excellent analytic skills ,strong communications skills and enthusiastic about cross-team collaboration.
