We are an growing engineering services company growing through technical innovation servicing both government (Maritime/Navy and DoD) and commercial large scale engineering projects! We are specializing in electronics technology research, development, cybersecurity, and much more.
We are seeking a talented Information Systems Security Technology person supporting the development of software and/or control systems. This work is primarily within DoD and Navy maritime systems.
Secret clearance (or eligible, but will need the active clearance to start).
Base salary $75-$100K (Looking ideally for 3-6 yrs. exp.)
What You Will Be Doing
In this key role responsibilities are:
-Installing, testing and verifying OS and Software level patches and STIGs in accordance with IA and Cybersecurity standards.
-Maintains network security and ensures compliance with security policies and procedures. (DIACAP and RMF).
-Develop processing of IA and Cybersecurity with DoD standards
-Development and implementation of network related procedures and standards
-Evaluates hardware and software, including peripheral, output, and related equipment.
-Participates in the development and implementation of network-related procedures and standards.
-Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.
-Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.
What You Need for this Position
We prefer candidate have a BSCS OR equivalent combination of education, tech certification and training with 3-6 years experience.
- CNSSI 4012 certificate or ADQ GA7 or successful completion of at least one of the following military training courses:
-NEC 2779 (CIN: 1-531-0009)
-3372 or CIN W-3B-1500 (EKMS Manager) or A-4C-1340 (KMI) (or DoD Service equivalent).
-Plus at 3-6 years of specialized entry level experience in Specialty Area 72 (Information System
Security Management).
-Certifications of desire are:
-SA, MCITPA, RHCSA, RHCE, MCITP: EA, VMWare's VCP, IAT3 or MSCP
-3 years of directly related experience in network administration and support of Microsoft and/or Linux-based systems.
-Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scanning software
-Must have an Active Secret Security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a clearance, however, your start date is contingent on an active clearance.
