Responsible for supervising and motivating all subcontractors and superintendents within a given region. Serve as a liaison between the field and other branches of the company.
Our High End Residential Team, is currently seeking an experienced Multifamily Construction Superintendent will be responsible for supervising and motivating all subcontractors for 1-2 large scale custom homes ranging from the $18 20 million dollar range.
What You Will Be Doing
-Help set goals for each project and project accurate due dates
-Review work for consistency and accuracy
-Lead weekly update meetings with team members.
-Provide oversight and guidance on fiscal policy
-Help revise scopes of work as needed.
-Review bids to ensure accuracy
-Review budgets to ensure profitability
-Reconcile excel budgets with BuilderTrend
-Motivates, encourages, trains and leads field staff.
-Continue to build upon team dynamic.
-Help train and develop team members in weak areas.
-Promote positive and upbeat attitudes.
-Manage design professionals.
-Set up meetings with Interior design firms and review selections for consistency.
-Review site drainage, septic, energy calcs and other misc. designs as needed.
-Set expectations with customers over time frames from initial meeting to construction start.
-Provide customer service from initial meeting through construction completion.
-Work with new clients to review changes to plans and wish list items.
-Set expectations regarding construction timing and pricing.
-Explain standard features and allowances if applicable.
-Hold regular meetings with customer and office and field team.
-Build relationships with current and new vendors
-Meet with owners and filed supervisors of vendors.
-Review schedules and plans and pricing before issuing Pos
-Actively communicate workloads and potential projects in the pipe for lead times.
What You Need for this Position
-Graduate from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in construction science, engineering, architecture and/or equivalent experience or a minimum of 10 years experience of field experience.
-Experience with High End Residential construction
-Proven Management skills
Technical Skills
-Computer proficiency, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of AutoDesk, Bluebeam, P6, BIM, and/or Procore software a plus.
