Job Title: Group Director of Analytical Chemistry
Location: Lafayette, IN
Salary: $100K-$140K+ DOE

We are an advanced lab providing chemical development and materials analysis to pharmaceutical and other companies. We are currently looking to add a seasoned Group Director of Analytical Chemistry to our team of industry leaders with experience in high-performance liquid and gas chromatography, dissolution, and other

What You Will Be Doing
- Lead the Analytical Chemistry team's function including; API, intermediate and product characterizations by solid state analytical techniques, method development, validation, reproduction of prior art, routine testing, etc.
- Provide technical expertise in the performance in the areas of responsibility especially spectroscopy (RAMAN, IR, NMR)
- Maintain SOP compliance
- Provide support for business and strategic goals
What You Need for this Position
- Ph.D. in organic, analytical, or physical chemistry with expert knowledge of all aspects of Analytical Chemistry as related to the development and testing of
pharmaceutical products
- 10+ years experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical or related chemical service industry is required
- Advanced interpersonal, verbal, managerial, and written communication skills
- 3+ years as a supervisor in a service laboratory with a wide range of tests, instrumentation and workload, and directing a major section of the laboratory
- Strong working knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the types of instruments and analytical systems, manual and automated used in the lab
- Strong working knowledge of the operation of computerized data processing and laboratory information systems.
- Ability to provide technical expertise in the performance in the areas of responsibility especially spectroscopy (RAMAN, IR, NMR)
