We're a leading fire protection service and new construction contractor near Brooklyn, NY that's been in business for over 20 years and we're growing! We've got a successful track record in the service and installation of fire alarm, extinguisher, and suppression systems, and we are looking to add a Division Manager to spearhead our Sprinkler Service and Installation Department.
As our Fire Sprinkler General Manager, you'll manage an operating department with about 15 team members that is primarily focused on service and inspections. As the leader of this division, your goal will be to expand the service and inspection vertical while also develop a new fire sprinkler construction and installation department. You'll work directly with the company's executive leadership team and help us continue expanding in New York.

What You Will Be Doing
- Manage the day-to-day operations of an exciting Fire Sprinkler Service & Inspections department
- Lead and manage around 15 department members consisting of field technicians and supporting admin
- Manage a business vertical that currently makes around $4.5 million in revenue
- Expand our fire sprinkler division beyond service & inspection and into new construction, design, and installation
- Grow our overall sales by understanding our markets and identifying new businesses opportunities
What You Need for this Position
- 7+ years of experience in fire sprinkler service and installation business management
- Strong P&L management experience
- High level of experience and knowledge of a wide variety of fire sprinkler systems for service, inspection, design, and installation projects
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts for fire sprinkler service and construction projects
- Proven experience in bringing in new business and sales opportunities
- Strong leadership and personnel management experience
- Extensive knowledge of all relevant NFPA codes on a local, state, and federal basis
- Must lead by example
- Ability to travel 25% of the time depending on the assigned geographic location
- Previous experience as a Fire Sprinkler Designer is a PLUS
- Active NICET or other Fire Protection Certifications are a PLUS
