What You Will Be Doing
(THIS POSITION IS FULLY REMOTE AND WILL REMAIN SO MOVING FORWARD)
We're looking for an excellent front-end JavaScript developer proficient with React.js and AWS integration. The ideal candidate has strong UI design skills.
Their primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them with well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). They will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain, while coordinating with the rest of the team on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality products is important.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is excited to relentlessly solve technical challenges and translate business requirements into technical deliverables, plus the following qualifications:
An expert in Reactjs, Next Js and GraphQL, familiar with modern front-end build pipelines and tools, with experience building complex web applications and strong design skills.
" Deep knowledge of creating standards-compliant, cross-browser, mobile compatible front-end code with responsive design
" Deep knowledge of server-side and front-end performance optimization
" Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
" Experience working with any relational database, preferably Aurora PostgreSQL, and cloud environments such as AWS (ECS,EC2,Lambda Edge, S3,Cloud9 etc.)
" Experience in and understanding of GraphQL technology such as Hasura Graphql.
" Comfortable working in version control systems such as Gitlab, GitHub or Code Commit.
" Experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment using AWS CodePipeline and CloudFormation
" Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
" Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
" Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
" Familiarity with RESTful APIs
" Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
" Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
" Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
" Should manage own time and work well both independently and as part of a team
Some nice-to-have requirements include knowledge of isomorphic React, experience in AI, ML (ScikitLearn, NumPy), Django, Salesforce integration, Marketing Automation and Flutter or any mobile frameworks.
