What You Will Be Doing
As fire protection estimator, you will consistently deliver high-quality work, your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be evident in your estimates and budgets. You will be part of a team with a healthy mix of backgrounds, executing bids in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a self-starter with MEP/FP technical depth, bold innovation, and a desire to be part of a team that delivers impactful results every day.
Will apply system knowledge to develop comprehensive budgets and estimates
Review all the bid documentation and analysis of the scope of work
Work on multiple projects simultaneously and capable of responding to changing priorities
Client first mentality, when applying the best pricing for equipment and materials
Will be involved in efforts to conduct value-added engineering
Establish and maintain open, positive relationships with the team, clients, vendors, and suppliers
What You Need for this Position
At Least 3 Years of experience and knowledge of:
You are adept at NFPA code
A bonus if you are NICET certified
You communicate and collaborate effectively with others, promoting your ideas as well as being humble when you may be wrong
A deep desire to grow and continuously learn; adapting to new processes and technologies
Experience working with estimating software Trimble-Autobid Mechanical a plus
