Seeking an Exercise Physiologist to assist with developing body mechanics coaching programs to work cross functionally with research teams in building novel life-changing digital health
solutions for our users. This role is Onsite daily.
What You Will Be Doing
Design and develop exercise prescriptions for customers based on individualized needs and assessment of risk factors
Engage with customers providing coaching, education, and support on the proper principles of exercise utilizing a variety of media and equipment
Identify safety concerns in age-related or condition-related individuals and recommend appropriate measures
Work to build and support a database of activities categorized by customer needs
Create and document protocol for communicating with clients about exercise and training techniques
Collaborate with design, software, and clinical team to drive digital best practices
Other responsibilities as required
What You Need for this Position
Master's Degree in the field of Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or related field is required - PhD is a BIG Plus
Current ACSM-CEP Certification
Minimum 8 years experience coaching clients on lifestyle change for improved health and wellness
Expertise in exercise guidelines and best practices for wide range of chronic conditions
Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Team player who is willing to learn on the job
