If you are a Estimator with experience, please read on! We are currently seeking an experienced Division 9 Estimator to manage the bid proposal process of multiple projects from our Las Vegas office. This position will evaluate project plans and specifications to determine required contents of project estimates. The qualified candidate will be responsible for estimating all projects including ground up, tenant improvements, and renovations.

What You Will Be Doing
-Manage the bid proposal process to determine scope of work for various projects
-Provide expertise to any bid-related presentations and proposals
-Calculate scope of work takeoffs to prepare estimates and bid proposals
-Review design options and provide solutions based on cost, engineering, and materials
-Prepare detailed estimates including complete takeoffs of scope
-Determine labor, equipment & material requirements (general conditions)
-Solicit pricing from vendors and potentially other subcontractors
-Manage subcontractor solicitation and selection process
-Review subcontractor proposals against drawings and specifications
-Participate in pre-job meeting with project team
-Support all areas of the business related to estimates and job-costing
-Develop and maintain working relationships with clients, designers, subcontractors, and vendors
What You Need for this Position
-Working knowledge of contract documents, including blueprints, drawings, and schematics
-Strong familiarity with construction and industry practices, processes, and standards
-Ability to recognize errors or inconsistencies with project-related costs and scope
-Professional communication and presentation skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms, Procore, estimating software experience a plus
-Strong organization skills
-Accuracy and attention to detail are critical
-Multi-tasking and the ability to bid multiple projects in the same time frame
-Adaptable to change in a fast-pace environment
-Strong connections in the Nevada and California construction marketplace
-Projects include but not limited to

-Theme Parks & Waterparks
-Hotel Tower Remodels
-Light Commercial
-Casino Remodel
