What You Will Be Doing
Serve as a member of our mechanical team for the design development process of mechanical
components for client projects as assigned:
- Perform engineering calculations and apply engineering principles to assist in the
successful design, creation and delivery of all mechanical AutoCad and Revit drawings
for each client project
- Review specifications, shop drawings, addendums, and other construction documents
- Review field reports and participate in field inspections
- Conduct field work to verify design
- Participate in client meetings
- Participate in career development training
What You Need for this Position
- Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering examination
- Certified by the State of Texas as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- AutoCad
- Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Skills:
- Revit
- Experience in an MEP consulting environment
- Experience designing MEP systems for schools
- Experience in the design of HVAC systems, central plants, heating systems, ventilation systems, temperature controls and indoor air quality, as well as other standard mechanical systems for commercial buildings
