What You Will Be Doing
Serve as a member of our electrical team for the design development process of electrical
components for client projects as assigned:
- Perform engineering calculations and apply engineering principles to assist in the
successful design, creation and delivery of all electrical AutoCad and Revit drawings for
each client project
- Review specifications, shop drawings, addendums, specifications and other construction
documents
- Review field reports and participate in field inspections
- Conduct field work as necessary to verify design and/or as assigned by supervisor
- Participate in client meetings as necessary and/or as assigned by supervisor
- Participate in career development training
What You Need for this Position
- Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering examination
- Certified by the State of Texas as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- AutoCad
- Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Skills:
- Revit
- Experience in an MEP consulting environment
- Experience designing MEP systems for schools
- Experience in the design of power distribution, power and lighting, data networks,
telephone and intercom systems, fire alarm systems, security and access control
systems, as well as other standard electrical systems for commercial buildings
