What You Will Be Doing
Within your team your main focus will be in developing custom solutions in the fields of robotics, autonomy, human-machine interface, machine vision, and electromechanical system design. Some of the areas your team will be working in include aircraft inspection, ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance), utility construction, medical training, IED/EOD operations, and simulation.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work closely with algorithm developers in working with MATLAB and C++ to real-time applications.
- Join engineers or lead FPGA engineers developing architecture/protocol between ARM and FPGA
- Utilize and/or modify existing code bases and libraries; create and shape new functionality.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, well-documented code
- Working ability ussing with SCM tools such as SVN, GIT, and Mercurial
- Knowledge of integrations with external interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART
- Use Linux system software to develop with build configurations and customization., its a plus if your are familiar developing on any embedded Linux.
- Multi process/thread programming using techniques like Boost, C++11, and ASIO event driven when relevant.
