If you are a Electrician/Plant Electrician with experience performing plant/industrial site electrical troubleshooting and repair tasks on a variety of systems and equipment, this is an immediately and key role open with a client, for a day shift role.
In this role you will perform the following, but will not be limited to:
* The Repair and Maintenance of machinery and equipment
* The installation and repair of industrial equipment including electrical equipment, electrical systems, wiring, components, etc.
* The ability and experience with the diagnosing of equipment failures, determine cause, repair, and troubleshoot efficiently, in a timely manner , all under the plant safety rules/compliance.
* When needed/applicable, will work to troubleshoot PLC/Controls/ programmable Logic control systems and control wiring to determine problems.
* When needed/applicable, will work to Repair and when needed, replace control devices.
At Least 3-5 Years of experience and knowledge of:
* 3 or more years related experience and/or training in an industrial environment, including working with :
* 120v control wiring and 3 phase 480v motor starters
* Working with Electrical Test and Measurement tools
* Experience running Conduit/Wire
* High Voltage and Low Voltage experience/exposure
Skills desired include the ability to:
* Read and interpret Blueprints and Schematics and documents and instructions (written, oral, diagram, schedules)
* Able to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts, and to Calculate figures/amounts.
* Proven ability to write routine reports and correspondence
* Problem Solving, Troubleshooting, repair and Maintenance skills, in a manufacturing setting, ideally.
What You Will Be Doing
The Electrician/Plant Electrician is responsible for building and installing new electrical equipment, as well as troubleshooting and repairing all electrical equipment in the plant on a proactive/preventive basis and as needed.
