We're an established contractor providing a variety of testing solutions for crucial players in the aerospace industry. Aircraft component OEMs, MRO facilities, and operators depend on our testing equipment to certify their hydraulics, power generation, avionics, fuel and other systems.

Currently, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer for our office in the outskirts of Detroit, MI.

What You Will Be Doing

- Evaluate electrical systems, products and components
- Design testing methods for products
- Understand customer requirements and develop electrical products, as needed
- Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods
- Develop electrical testing methods to ensure a good product quality
- Test finished products
- Design electrical systems that will test aerospace and industrial components
- Support distrbuted test systems, as needed
- Interpret OEM design and test documentation to determine test requirements and strategy

What You Need for this Position

- 5+ years of experience with electrical controls and hardware
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Hardware experience: Drive Systems, AC Motors, DC Motors, PLCs, Servo Controls and Instrumentation
- Data Acquisition System design and integration
- AutoCAD experience
- Proven experience developing drawings per client specifications
- Proven experience designing power distribution circuits and panel layouts
- Experience managing engineering documentation, drawings, procedurs, bill of materials and other items
- Experience integrating hardware and software into functional testing systems
