Driver - Class A , Forklift, DOT - Tractor trailer, Class A

We have a Driver position located in our Savannah, GA site, for a role that will fill in when our two that we have are out, and when he/ she is not driving we would like them to assist with the warehouse operating a forklift.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
" Operates the tractor trailer in strict compliance with all DOT regulations.
" Delivers and picks up loads from docks on schedule.
" Inspects truck and trailer, pre and post trip, following DOT regulations.
" Responsible for the condition of the truck and trailer, looking for any malfunctioning parts.
" Inspects cargo to ensure it's loaded correctly.
" Reviews all the necessary shipping documents.
" Informs management of any and all issues.
" Washes tractor on days when there is no load for that day.
" Helps load and unload trailers when needed.

"Minimum of two years verifiable tractor trailer experience
" Must have current Class A CDL license with air brake endorsement
" No more than 1 moving violation in the previous twelve months
" No license suspensions or DUIs within the last three years
" Forklift experience a plus.
" Must be able to pass a DOT physical
" Knowledge of truck maintenance
" Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and standard operating procedures.
" Flexibility to work overtime as well as different shifts to meet Company goals.
" GED/High School Diploma required.
" Must be computer literate and able to speak, read and write English.
" Punctual and follow schedule in order to transport merchandise on time

" While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.
