Our mission saves and improves lives by helping people heal! And we are seeking a Director of Facilities to join our team in Dayton/Kettering, OH to oversee building and grounds maintenance for our facilities.
What You Will Be Doing
-Develop and implement a facility management program, including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements.
-Conduct and document regular facilities inspections and ensure compliance with all standards.
-Implement and manage facility operations and capital budgets.
-Supervise multi-disciplinary staff teams, including maintenance, grounds, and custodial workers.
-Develop, maintain and manage physical security controls and contractors
-Offering infrastructure support to the maintenance and management of our off-site branches.
-Oversee the functionality and safety of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.), including clean rooms.
-Develop, implement, and manage the disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
-Ensure that all critical systems related to clean rooms and other complex building systems are maintained to the highest standard, including managing any related certifications or calibrations.
-Provide technical direction and problem-solving assistance to the team regarding equipment and system issues.
-Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors and service providers.
-Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met.
What You Need for this Position
-Huge plus if you have an engineering background and/or an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field required.
-Ideally 9+ years of facilities, operations, and management experience
-Ideally 4+ years of leadership in an environment with complex building systems and clean rooms.
-Proficient understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC, clean room operations, and building management systems.
-Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD or similar systems.
-Extensive knowledge of industry standards and regulations for safety, building codes, and emergency regulations.
-Strong budgeting/expense management understanding with a basic understanding of financial and accounting principles.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong problem-solving/analysis abilities, decision-making capabilities, and attention to detail.
-Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
-Must possess a valid drivers license and be considered insurable by the insurance provider.
-Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
