We are looking for a Director of Engineering to lead the design and manufacturing within four product segments. This person in this role will be a key definer of culture, driving operational excellence and urgency.
What You Will Be Doing
Provide strategic planning and direction by managing the people, processes, and tools to execute current, planned, and projected work.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to achieve on-time delivery and project targets.
Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to release, ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery.
Foster a data driven culture focused on analytics and predictive tools to facilitate decision making process.
Coordinates with customer facing teams to resolve operational customer complaints and non-conformance and lead the identification & implementation of corrective/preventive measures.
Maintain an audit-ready operation and participate in external audits as required.What You Need for this Position
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline
10+ years of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing
6+ years of experience in Leadership (hiring, planning, strategy, execution, capital, etc)
- Product Lifecycle management
- Lean/Six Sigma Manufacturing
- Geometric Tolerancing
- 3D Modeling
- Sheet Metal
