What You Will Be Doing
Qualified candidate capable of overseeing completion of a wide variety of construction projects.
- Responsible for the creation, organization, execution and completion of specific projects.
- Determining manpower and equipment needed, managing relevant employees, setting deadlines, communicating with company executives about the state of the project, ensuring projects stay on track and on budget, and adjusting if necessary, to meet new requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes while evaluating risks such as environmental and/or local community issues.
- Obtaining the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites is an integral part of this position as well.
- Routine site checks should be conducted to assess progress and quality standards throughout the life of the project.
- We are looking for heavy experience in new construction and home remodeling. You will be expected to collaborate with the team and have existing relationships with subcontractors, as well as obtain new resources if necessary.
- Training and mentorship of construction workers and laborers will also be necessary.
What You Need for this Position
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management or related
- PMP or equivalent is a BONUS/Asset
- 2-5+ Years' Construction Project Management
- Extensive new construction and home remodeling experience
- Existing relationships with subcontractors and ability to obtain new resources
- Experience obtaining appropriate permits and licenses
