What You Will Be Doing
- #1 customer care provider!
- Directly responsible for all project goals
- Assist the estimating department to bid opportunities & ensure complete scope definition before the bid is delivered
- Manage daily activities of projects with contract administrators & superintendents that leads to successful completion of projects
- Successful completion is defined as meeting all time, cost, spec book, blue print, paperwork, corporate & customer requirements
- Maintain owner relationship in a positive & consultative manner
- Show understanding & proactive response to owners needs both on the job site & with staff, through clear & concise written & verbal communication
- Review & understand plans & specifications
- Generate in-house bids & assemble final bid package
- Handle all financial & relational correspondence for the projects
- Direct & oversee the efforts of contract administrator & superintendent
- Review & correct job cost reports weekly
- Market our company to related or associated parties of the projects
- Facilitates customer communication
- Serves client needs & responds to client inquiries
- Ensures project completion to client’s requirements
- Promotes future work
- Ensure projects goals meet the Company Mission Statement
- Assures compliance with Company Accounting requirements
- Complies with all regulatory requirements
- Coordinate projects bids.
- Prepares subcontractor bid lists and reviews with Project Administrator.
- Reviews owner bid package/contracts before bids are submitted.
- Attend job walks.
- Follow up on all bids
- You will provide a percentage completion to VP of Construction/President & Accounting weekly or as needed
- Forecasts & ensures profitability through managing project costs
- Reviews cost reports as needed & discuss with VP/President of Construction
- Review and approve subcontractor/vendor invoices.
- See that all cost data is entered into Timberline.
What You Need for this Position
At Least 3+ Years of experience and knowledge of:
- Construction Project Management
- Restaurant Construction - Ground Up & Remodel
- Commercial Construction
- General Contractor Experience
- Estimating
- Computer literacy necessary: Microsoft Word/Microsoft Excel/Microsoft Project
- Coordinate Projects Bids
- Financial & Accounting Principles
- Understand budgets
- Issue & Enforce Contracts
- Good communication skills: written & verbal
- Have a sense of urgency
