The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Networking) will join the Fast Hosting Services team. We are looking for multiple resources that will be placed into roles commensurate with their experience to support the design, deploy and support of network infrastructure and software necessary. The infrastructure is used to support FAST COTS software within co-located data centers, remotely managed customer sites, and public cloud environments.
The position will work with our headquarters team in Centennial, CO. However, work from home and remote work is possible.
What You Will Be Doing
-Design, deploy and support networking across multiple cloud vendors
-Monitor, analyze, and respond to infrastructure events
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues
-Maintain an effective and secure network infrastructure
-Assist with network standards, policies, procedures, and documentation
-Support streamlining and automation of administration functions
-Participate in business continuity planning and disaster recovery
-On-call support
What You Need for this Position
-Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
-Minimum of 5 years working in Information Technology
-Minimum of 3 years of experience with AWS and/or Azure
-Minimum of 2 years of experience with networking
-Experience with cloud services, such as routing, firewalls, load balancers, VPCs / VNets, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, gateways, Transit Gateway, peering, etc.
-Strong understanding of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, ICMP, BGP
-Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) utilizing Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
-Deep understanding of network secure protocols (SSL/TLS, SSH, IPSec/VPN, Ciphers)
-Familiarity with certificates (server, client, intermediate, chain, private/public keys, OCSP, CRL)
-Troubleshooting skills using network monitoring tools and packet analysis
-Ability to work and effectively prioritize in a highly dynamic work environment
