Job Title: CFO
Location: Providence RI (Hybrid work schedule)
Salary: $250-275K
Requirements: Prior experience leading corporations with $1 Billion in revenue.

What You Will Be Doing
- Serves as the financial advisor to the CEO and the senior leadership team, participates in the quarterly Board Meetings
- Leads careful stewardship and management of all of capital expenditures
- Works closely with the investment partner(s) and provides appropriate financial reporting as requested
- Ensures that effective internal controls are in place
- Upholds compliance with various government agencies and other internal and external stakeholders
- Develops the annual operating and capital budgets and leads the budgeting process in collaboration with the Vice President of Finance
- Oversees all corporate treasury functions, including cash management; asset accounting and divisional policies and procedures
- Develops budgets, departmental P&L, and drives continual improvement of the budgeting process departmental performance to budget
- Understands and mitigates key elements of the corporate risk profile.
- Participates in the development of the companys strategic planning as a tactical partner in evaluating and advising on the impact of long-range planning and regulatory action on the areas of responsibility
- Directs internal controls and auditing function
- Leads large scale finance and accounting projects
- Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of financial information to the CEO, senior leadership, and outside agencies and groups
- Trains functional managers on financial matters and provides routine feedback regarding department performance
- Support an operational excellence strategy across the company that is consistent with corporate philosophy
- Cultivate a strong culture of teamwork and collaboration and support cross-functional efforts to drive improvement across all areas of business
- Be a world-class leader of the Finance and Accounting team that attracts and develops future leaders and embraces the companys values
- Must be able to operate in a matrixed environment and manage through persuasion, negotiation and consensus building
- Assists CEO and other executives with all M&A activities from due diligence to post-closure
What You Need for this Position
- Masters degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience as a proven senior executive in a nationwide company
- Proven success developing progressive business policies and practices that advance the strategic goals of the organization
- Experience working with large financially complex projects
- Thorough understanding of the corporate P&L and the budget process
- Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions process
- Exceptional communication skills
