Seeking a Business Development Representative who is highly motivated, organized, and takes pride in their work, to join a rapidly growing company across North America, who is a leader in providing innovative safety, access, rescue, and work solutions for specialty Construction and Industrial Maintenance projects across several industries. This position will support the sales team providing the leads to the Account Executives.
What You Will Be Doing
Prospect cold leads and accounts daily to determine and secure qualified sales opportunities
Research companies, identifying potential organizations, opportunities, and industries
Determining the correct point of contact for organizations
Document all sales efforts incorporate Client Relationship Management - Salesforce
Send follow up emails providing marketing materials and company information to prospective clients
Book appointments for video and in-person Sales Team
Coordinate outreach and sales efforts with BD Managers
Identify relevant Request for Proposal for the Sales Team
Assist BD Managers & Marketing Manager with the ongoing development of Sales and Marketing toolkit and assets
Schedule and arrange catering for corporate lunch
Prepare sign-up forms and presentation materials
Learn presentations with prospective companies
What You Need for this Position
Must have 1 year of successful Outbound Prospecting/Cold Calling experience
Proficient with online research, web searching, sourcing information
Innovative, with an eye for maximizing efficiency and return on time invested
Understanding of data management and hierarchy, detail-oriented
Strong organizational and Investigative/research skills
Strategically works towards achieving targets, with a positive friendly personality
Solid communications skills, both written and verbal
Excellent task and time management skills
Must have a positive, can-do attitude.
Enjoys speaking on the phone and making connections building relationships
Professionalism in all manners of client and colleague communication
Client Relationship Management (CRM) such as Salesforce is a BIG PLUS, Google Drive, Suite, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
