Microsoft .NET developers, SQL DBA/Developers, BI Engineers, QA Engineers
executive recruiter
I was born in Fountain Valley, California and raised with my brother Jeff in Garden Grove, CA where my father was a police officer and my mother was a labor and delivery nurse. We later moved to Irvine, CA where I attended University High School (home of the Trojans) and eventually went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California Los Angeles. I love recruiting and helping candidates find the positions they deserve. Previously I worked for a boutique technology staffing firm where I focused on placing Software and Database Engineers with a Microsoft background in the Orange County metro area. With CyberCoders I am able to place a wider variety of highly-skilled professionals into more diverse positions.
When I was 10, I wanted to be: A police officer like my dad – the man was (and still is) a superhero to me and my friends! I also planned on moonlighting as goaltender for the Mighty Ducks, Astronaut, and President of the United States. | Books I would suggest to a friend: Right now, I’m reading TR by H. W. Brands – it’s a surprisingly entertaining biography on the life of President Teddy Roosevelt. A little dense but definitely enlightening | Favorite Sports Team (don't hold it against me!!): ANY UCLA TEAM, Angels Baseball, Lakers… | Favorite Movies: Saving Private Ryan is my all-time favorite | Favorite Band or Songs: Van Morrison is always going to be appropriate (even if I don’t listen to him on the daily basis) but the music I’m listening to basically depends on my attitude. Whatever it is though, it has to be LOUD ? | What I like to do when NOT recruiting: I’m a big reader, very much into home improvement, and am working on training my new puppy. When weather permits I like to surf, golf, and run. | Coolest job on the planet: (other than recruiting…) I think Anthony Bourdain has a pretty sweet deal; the man gets paid to travel the world, stay in high-end hotels, and feast at every variety of eatery a location has to offer, and document these adventures on a fairly well-known television show. I’m not sure which part of those responsibilities qualify as a “job” | Idea to make the world a better place: I would like to see a money-less economy be instituted
