I started my career recruiting mostly Sr. Network, Systems, and Database Administrators, as well as Engineers, but quickly moved to different roles comprising the entire SDLC, including Java, .NET, and Database Developers, PM’s, QA Analysts & Engineers, and everything in between. I’ve also recruited Finance & Accounting professionals, and Product Managers.

I want us to start things off on the right foot, so I’m just going to come out and say it: I like people. No, seriously. I really do. In fact, I believe it to be socially acceptable for at least the foreseeable future to say I heart them. Sigh. All humor aside, I truly enjoy learning about people – through and through – and it is only by pure chance that I happened upon a career in recruiting that marries my passion for communication with being in a position to aid people in the advancement of their careers. I've helped clients realize their hiring initiatives for both contract/temporary and permanent positions, and have worked with small, medium, and enterprise-sized clients in industries including banking, insurance, communications, law, non-profit, technology, as well as the government in both Washington DC and the Los Angeles area. I have a 9-year old son who’s unequivocally my favorite person in the world. He just made President’s Honor Roll, and the formula goes as follows: President’s Honor Roll = All A’s = Xbox 360 + 2 video games. Oh, the joys of parenthood!I’m a graduate of the University of Maryland in College Park, where I received a BA in Communication. I was fortunate enough to attend said institution on a full football scholarship, and was part of an ACC Championship, and Peach and Gator Bowl Championship teams. If I said those times were awesome, I’d be lying; they were awesome – squared.
When I was 10, I wanted to be: A baseball player. | Books I would suggest to a friend: The Success Principles -- Jack Canfield The Wealthy Barber -- David Chilton | Favorite Sports Team (don't hold it against me!!): Maryland Terrapins | Favorite Movies: Braveheart, Gladiator, Any Given Sunday, American Beauty, and... (wait for it) Ratatouille <--- true story | Favorite Band or Songs: Kanye West, The Zach Brown Band, Outkast, Luther Vandross, and Dave Hollister | What I like to do when NOT recruiting: Talking to, or hanging out with my son, writing, re-writing, driving, hanging out with family and friends, and working out. | Coolest job on the planet: ANY job that is aligned with one’s passion(s). | Idea to make the world a better place: I think humor – in all of its many forms – has the ability to help the world, as a collective, simply exhale, and take a load off. So, my idea to make the world a better place would be to add more of the stuff that tickles our respective fancy.
