Software that changes everything Working with great people Managing Uncertainty Creating the future
executive recruiter
I’ve been obsessed with software that changes everything since 1988. Sure I wrote a few cool programs before that time, but 1988 was the year when I got a call from a stranger who asked if they could buy 30 licenses to a piece of software I had written (wrote it to make my own life easier). Huh? How do you know me? How did you hear about my software? Who is this? Okay, It’s $1,000 per license. Bam! I suddenly knew that software had magical qualities. $30,000 worth of magical qualities on a single floppy disk that I delivered faster than a crack dealer in the hood.By 1995 I was a software addict. The web browser was a year old and it was changing the world. I began connecting great software ideas to great engineers and sales pros… the world was officially transforming into a high speed network of human goodness. Today everything is possible. It’s different now. If you can think it, you can be it. Maybe Descartes was right when he said, “I think therefore I am on Facebook.”I am an Extreme Recruiter. That means I don’t just ride people’s resumes into your office and let you sort thru the mess. I find people that I would interview if I was in your situation, and make sure they are in peak performance mode, make sure they have a passion for what you have a passion for… and send you real people who are ready to make your business great. Why would I do anything less than that?…Even more about me: I am an accomplished executive with more than 25 years of successful management experience. I am recognized as an expert in the technology management practices of the world’s largest corporations.I have advised companies including Boeing, Corning, Honeywell, IBM, Motorola and Northrop Grumman on technology roadmapping and innovation management technology and best practices. I created global technology management research partnerships between many of the top 50 companies in the world and leading universities including Cambridge University, Purdue University, Penn State University, Japan Advanced Institute of Technology, and Georgia Tech. I am also the founder and former CEO of Alignent Software, a place where we created the most amazing technology management software ever, which was subsequently merged with Sopheon Corporation.I envisioned a game changing software product to improve drug safety for big pharma, named it Argus Safety, and brought it to all of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the world today. Argus Safety is now Oracle Corporations prized enterprise software product for the world’s largest pharmaceutical corporations. I have also been an inventor of ophthalmic surgical system widgets, facsimile marketing systems, sales automation software, and customer relationship management systems. I am also the father of the world’s top 5 daughters, each of them just as amazing as your kids.., I know you know what I am talking about if you have kids. Sorry guys… DAUGHTERS ROCK.
