Our agency client is looking for a Director of Account Services to join their team full-time. You will play a crucial role in supporting and executing their clients brand strategies, messaging, creative development, media planning, sales initiatives, social media outreach, and product/service considerations.
This role requires the candidate to be within driving distance of Raleigh, NC for quarterly onsite meetings and occasional client meetings.
Director of Account Services Responsibilities:
- Manage high-level client relationships across the agency
- Oversee development of media plans for clients including forecasts, budgets, deliverables, timelines/deadlines, and performance
- Manage strategic messaging development with the Director of Strategy and Creative Director
- Identify opportunities for client growth that align with client interests, capabilities and budgets
- Provide recommendations and sell additional agency service to clients
- Lead presentations as needed to clients
- Assist with the facilitation of workshops
- Mentor junior account and project managers on the team
Director of Account Services Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience managing client relationships, preferably at a creative agency
- Must have a strong understanding of media and how it works
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining successful client relationships
- Ability to develop new business opportunities with existing clients
- Experience with Monday.com is a plus
- Need to be a strategic thinker with a proactive solutions-oriented mindset, able to anticipate client needs and identify opportunities for value-added services
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills and able to articulate complex ideas and concepts in a clear/compelling manner
