Chief Technology Officer - Technology Lead (Work from Home Office is OK)

A company that is in the process of building a very large cross platform networked software application is in need of a Chief Technology Officer to aid in the completion of the design and roll out of the software. This is highly secretive in nature and will be discussed in further detail with the right applicant(s).
This position does require travel (possibly international) but can be based out of your home office preferably on the West Coast. (Telecommuting is OK)

Experience Required:
- 15+ yrs Direct Professional Expert Experience in Software Develop Management
- MS or PhD in Computer Science or Similar field
- 15+ years managing large scale software development projects.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in parallel group software development, remote team development skills, and third party software integration at the source code level.
- Ideal candidate must be able to express their technical solutions to multiple groups of developers of various skill levels, and mentor them through to the project’s completion.
- Candidate should also be able to leverage previous experiences in taking existing software solutions and enhancing them by direct software development solutions. - Candidate must have extensive experience in scaling software and hardware solutions for client-server solutions and scale them to physical limits of the underlying network.
