Job Location: REMOTE - we have offices in Sunnyvale, CA, and Chandler, AZ
Compensation: $150K - $200K+ base plus bonus and RSUs

You will be responsible for design simulations, device modeling, and mask layout design for SiC power die products. This will involve adapting existing unit cells from the Technology Development R&D team to meet the requirements of each product. You will interface with the fab operations team to demonstrate device/process capability and limits in order to ensure cost-effective, manufacturable, and highly reliable designs.
- Responsible for Power Die Products device design activities
- Design SiC MOSFETs and Schottky diodes
- Adopt EDA tools and create tools that automate generation of new devices and physical design verification
- Collaborate with project team to ensure product cost, performance, quality and reliability goals are met
- Ensure design deliverables are within schedule and mitigate overall risks
- Provide design support, as needed, for yield, quality, reliability, and performance issues on released products
- Interface to key customers on tradeoff analysis during the request for quotation (RFQ) and product definition phase
- Provide feedback to process development and Technology Development R&D teams on future roadmap capabilities
BS in EE or semiconductor-related field (M.S. or Ph.D. preferred) with 5+ years experience/knowledge of the following:
- Hands-on device design experience for SiC MOSFETs or similar power semiconductor devices
- Direct experience in the design and development of high volume, commercially successful semiconductors devices from concept to production
- Ability to clearly and simply explain complex design or device concepts to customers and high level managers
- Expertise in most or all of the following: power semiconductor devices, process integration, semiconductor device physics, semiconductor device reliability, materials science, design modeling and simulation, MOSFET device layout
