We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer - iOS to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience developing iOS applications using SWIFT, UIKit, Core Data, and Objective-C. Skills in Core Bluetooth, NSURL Session, AVFoundation, as well as full-stack applications, HIPAA Regulations, security practices in healthcare software, FDA-regulated medical device software, and wireless communication technologies would be a slam dunk for this role but definitely not a hard requirement.
The Senior Software Engineer will also be expected to act as a Lead Developer at times, potentially working with offshore teams and delivering important updates or holding the team accountable toward milestones and important deliveries.
Position Overview
The Senior Software Engineer - iOS will be responsible for developing and maintaining products for our clients mobile devices. The engineer will need to create features from scratch as well as improve on existing features while maintaining a high level of quality. The engineer will also be involved in the entire product development life cycle and will need to coordinate with various internal and external teams to ensure the successful delivery and deployment of the product.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop high-quality iOS applications with SWIFT, UIKit, Core Data, and Objective-C
Identify and troubleshoot performance issues in the application
Create and maintain documentation for all code written
Participate in code reviews to ensure accuracy and quality
Work with the UI/UX designers to ensure a great user experience
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
Act as a Lead Developer, potentially managing offshore teams
Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience developing iOS applications with SWIFT, UIKit, Core Data, and Objective-C
Experience working with Core Bluetooth, NSURL Session, AVFoundation is a plus
Experience with full-stack applications, HIPAA Regulations, security practices in healthcare software, and FDA-regulated medical device software is a plus
Experience with wireless communication technologies is a plus
Experience in managing offshore teams is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
